Who can forget last year when, the undefeated, Anderson Silva was taunting Chris Weidman with his normal M.O. of getting into his opponents head, only to get caught off-guard with a monster left hook that ended his title reign.

MMA is a beautiful sport, in that, fighters can finish an opponent with a submission, by decision in a long and drawn out battle, or via a knockout. For UFC fans, fight nights are a treat as they get to see a range of all of these match-ending decisions.

Take UFC 170 for example, this past fight night saw the co-main events end in knockouts (TKO), which got us to thinking: what are the best knockouts the UFC has ever seen? Read on for our list of (in our opinion) some of the UFC’s Best Knockouts!

Dan Henderson KO Michael Bisping

In a UFC 100 matchup that featured a ton of trash talking (on Bisping’s part), Henderson let his giant right hand do the talking (and threw in an extra right for good measure).

Junior Dos Santos KO Mark Hunt

After battling for three rounds at UFC 160, JDS was able to land an amazing spinning wheel kick to lay Hunt out. With a shot at the UFC heavyweight title on the line these men left it all in the ring and JDS ended it in spectacular fashion!

Chuck Lidell KO Randy Couture

In a retribution match for Lidell, he faced off against Couture who had gotten the win over him to claim his light-heavyweight title. With just two minutes elapsed in the first round, Lidell was able to connect on a right hook to Couture’s chin that won him back his championship!

Anderson Silva KO Vitor Belfort

For a long time Silva was considered the best pound of pound MMA fighter in the world. At UFC 126 he proved that again by knocking out Belfort with a front kick to the face that had the crowd saying “OOOOHHH”. Showing off his impressive muay thai Silva laid out Belfort in an almost effortless fashion. See the video for yourself.

Gabriel Gonzaga KO Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic

“Cro Cop” is a dangerous kick boxer and he entered the Octagon to face off against Gonzaga for a shot at the heavyweight title. Gonzaga stunned the audience, and Cro Cop alike by giving him a taste of his own medicine. At UFC 70 Gonzaga delivered a head kick that put Filopvic’s lights out towards the end of round one.
