The Races

Each of the 14 championship races that comprise the Breeders’ Cup hold high stakes as the competitors are running for the title of “World Champion” and an incredibly heavy purse. Every one of the horses and racing teams that have qualified for Breeders’, have done so by winning qualifying races, such as the Breeders’ Cup Challenge and Grade I, II, or III races, or have been selected by a panel of horseracing experts.

Fourteen horses compete in each Championship race, with seven horses pulled from the qualifying races and seven pulled from the experts’ selections. This ensures that only the top horses will be racing.

The races are broken out across Friday and Saturday, ending with the 1 ¼ mile Breeders’ Cup Classic on Saturday. Open to horses 3 years and up, this $5 million purse race is the richest race in North America, putting it in the spotlight of the Breeders’ Cup.

The Experience

There are two ways that you can experience the 2013 Breeders’ Cup: with a ticket or an Official Ticket Package. If you choose to get just a ticket, it will only grant you access to the races. However, if you select to get an Official Breeders’ Cup Ticket Package, you will get VIP hospitality and exclusive inclusions.

VIP Hospitality

The great thing about the Breeders’ Cup hospitality venue is that it is inside the track and available to you whenever you want throughout the race days. It offers a gourmet buffet, a private premium open bar, tote machines, Simulcast TV coverage of the races, and exclusive thoroughbred industry celebrity meet and greet appearances!

Exclusive Inclusions

In addition to in-track hospitality, Official Ticket Packages also get you a VIP Fast Access Pass, allowing you to skip the lines. Not to mention, these ticket packages also include optional accommodations at luxurious hotels, and ground transportation to and from the track. This allows you to relax and not worry about traffic and parking.

The best thing about Official Breeders’ Cup Ticket Packages is that everything is bundled into once price, so you can pay in advance and not have to worry about additional costs while you enjoy the Championship races. With regular tickets, you end up paying for everything out of pocket as you go, without the great inclusions!

So as you’re planning your trip to Santa Anita for the 14 Championship races of the 2013 Breeders’ Cup, make sure you’re getting the full experience! Find out how you can secure your Official Breeders’ Cup Ticket Package today!
