So without further ado, take a look at the facets you will need to put together to have the ultimate attire for the 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship!
1. The Jersey
While this might seem like a no-brainer, a jersey for your team is a necessity when you’re attending the national title game! Sure, wearing team t-shirts or regular shirts and pants that are your team colors work for regular home and away games, but when your team is competing for the title, you’ve got to go all in!
It’s time to invest in your team jersey! It’s time to unite under one uniform! It’s time to support your favorite player! Get that jersey ready!
Want to add some more team colors? Throw a plain long sleeved shirt with your team colors on under your jersey for some added warmth.
2. The Hat
The College Football Playoff National Championship boasts the beautiful backdrop of Texas! For all you Texans, those living in surrounding states, or those of you that have visited, it’s no secret that Texas is famous for the sun shining a majority of the days of the year. In other words, there’s a fantastic chance that Jan. 12 will have an abundance of sunshine! This is where a team hat is your fix!
Not only will it keep the sun off your face and keep you from watching the game through the slits in your eyes because you’re squinting so hard, but it also gives you another place to wear your team logo and colors in support!
Another hat option? When in Texas, go with a 10-gallon cowboy hat!
Now guys, don’t skip this one and go, “Oh, accessories? That’s just for the ladies.” Nope! This is one is for both crowds! There are tons of extra ways that you can add team support to your wardrobe through accessories.
Guys: Think team logo watches and team colored socks, shoe laces and sneakers. Bring a team jacket in case it gets chilly (Even though it’s in Texas, it is Jan.). Carry a team flag and be prepared to wave it when your first point is scored!
Ladies: Think team color beaded necklaces, watches and bracelets! Think colored bandanas and purses! Pom poms and foam fingers!
This is THE national title game, THE biggest game of the entire year! Remember, the more outrageous the better! Which brings us to number four...
4. Body Paint
Oh yes, it’s time to be that fan. This one might be a little out of your element, but it’s the College Football Playoff National Championship! Get the body paint ready because you’re turning blue (or whatever your team color is!)!
Make it a game between you and your group to see who can get spotted by the news cameras showing the most team spirit!
Think all-out body paint is just a little too much? Go with team logo temporary face tattoos!
Have Fun with it, Sports Fans!
Yes, some of the ideas above might seem a little outrageous (like body paint) and at the end of the day, wear what you feel comfortable in. The best advice to follow is to go all out! After all, you’re never going to have another opportunity to attend the first College Football Playoff National Championship.
This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity that will not again present itself. So live it up! Show your support! Rep for you team! After all, come Jan. 12, you might be a National Champion!
