NFLFor those sports buffs following along at home, the NBA season is over, the NHL season is over, and of course, there’s no football at the moment (unless you count the monster World Cup Tournament in Brazil!)

If you’re not a soccer or baseball fan, and are pining for football Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays you may be in for a quite a long summer. That’s where this list comes in. I’ve compiled several ways to make it through the summer unscathed and intact for all that the 2014-2015 NFL season has to bring!

Get your printer ready, you’re going to want to save this one for the dog days of summer.

1. Play Madden

I’ll leave it up to you to decide which Madden game you’re interested in playing, but busting out this classic NFL game is sure to banish your blues. Get some buddies together and go head-to-head using your favorite teams. You’ll get so into your own game that you’ll forget that there aren’t any real games!

2. Fantasy Football Prospecting

Don’t pretend for one second that you’re not already salivating at the thought of dominating your fantasty football league! You can’t wait to wipe that smug look off of last year’s champion’s face, and you know how you’re going to do it?

By prospecting and mock drafting! You’re not going to go in last minute and try to draft Dallas Clark as a steal, because you’ll already know that he retired this year.

3. Get to the Pro Football Hall of Fame

The Pro Football Hall of Fame Weekend kicks off on Friday, August 1st and is a three-day football fan dream that can be enjoyed with an Official Pro Football Hall of Fame Ticket Package through NFL On Location!

At this point we’ll still be a month out from the regular season kick off on September 4th, so what better way to beat your blues than by seeing some legendary NFL players and new inductees join this prestigious Hall of Fame? This weekend is jam-packed with bucket list activities, such as a Legends Club VIP Tailgate Party, the Enshrinement Ceremony and Enshrinees’ Gold Jacket Ceremony, an Enshrinees GameDay Roundtable Luncheon and tons of other once in a lifetime football experiences!

PFHOF ExperienceAdditionally, the weekend concludes with the Hall of Fame Game as the Buffalo Bills take on the New York Giants! Start planning today and have even more to look forward to this summer!

5. Plan a Trip To THE Football Game of the Year
