The NFL preseason kicked-off last weekend when the New York Giants took on the Buffalo Bills in the NFL/Hall of Fame Game! Since then, preseason games have been underway all building up anticipation for the first official regular season game of the year at the end of the month.

  • Currently, the San Francisco 49ers, New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are tied for the most performances at Wembley Stadium (2).  Jacksonville and Miami will join them this year
  • The largest score deficit was when New England defeated St. Louis in 2012, 45-7
  • The closest score was when the New York Giants defeated the Miami Dolphins in 2007, 13-10
  • The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have competed in the most home NFL International Games
  • The New England Patriots have competed in the most away NFL International Games
  • The largest attendance at a NFL International Game was in 2009, with 84,254 people at Wembley Stadium when the New England Patriots took on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • This will be the eighth year in a row that Wembley Stadium has hosted the NFL International Series
  • The first-ever recorded morning game will be in 2014 between the Detroit Lions and the Atlanta Falcons
