Hello, sweet summertime! This time of year calls for the windows to be down and the music to be turned up. The weather is hot and the music is too, so we’re breaking down the songs you need on your summer playlist. Take a look below at Billboard’s top songs that you can jam out to at home, on your way to work or on a road trip.

Pop Songs

1 Don’t Let Me Down | The Chainsmokers featuring Daya

2 Can’t Stop the Feeling | Justin Timberlake

3 One Dance | Drake featuring WizKid & Kyla

4 Dangerous Woman | Ariana Grande

5 This is What You Came For | Calvin Harris featuring Rihanna

Our Favorite: Don’t Let Me Down. How can you not love Daya? Known for her big hit “Hide Away,” this 17 year old is a fierce newcomer who keeps scaling the Billboard Charts. We wouldn’t be surprised if she wins a Billboard Music Award in the future.

Country Songs

1 H.O.L.Y | Florida Georgia Line

2 Huntin’, Fishin’ & Lovin’ Every Day | Luke Bryan

3 Church Bells | Carrie Underwood

4 Lights Come On | Jason Aldean

5 Humble and Kind | Tim McGraw

Our Favorite: Huntin’, Fishin’ & Lovin’ Every Day. Summertime and country music go together perfectly. So, naturally summertime and BBMAs Top Country Artist Luke Bryan are a match made in heaven. Now, if only we could spend every day fishin’ with him.

Hip Hop / R&B

2 Panda | Desiigner

3 Needed Me | Rihanna

4 Don’t Mind | Kent Jones

5 Work | Rihanna featuring Drake

Our Favorite: One Dance. Drake was voted BBMAs Top Rap Artist for a reason – after all, his songs are always at the top of the charts. Clearly a fan-favorite, this song lands No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Dance / Electronic

1 Don’t Let Me Down | The Chainsmokers feauturing Daya

2 This Is What You Came For | Calvin Harris      featuring Rihanna

3 Never Forget You | Zara Larsson & MNEK

4 Never Be Like You | Flume featuring Kai

5 Middle | DJ Snake featuring Bipolar Sunshine

Our Favorite: We already chose Don’t Let Me Down as a previous favorite so this time we will go with Never Forget You. It might be played every hour on the radio, but there’s a reason for that right? It’s catchy and fun to sing to in the car.

Rock Songs

1 Ride | twenty one pilots

2 Heathens | twenty one pilots

3 Stressed Out| twenty one pilots

4 Let It Go | James Bay

5 Unsteady | X Ambassadors

Our Favorite: Ride. You know you’re doing something right if you have three songs on the Hot 100 and won Billboard Music Awards for Top Rock Artist and Top Rock Album. Twenty one pilots is on fire right now – we really could’ve picked any of their songs, but Ride is solid right now.
