MotoGP™ Spain Recap

What more can we say about this young Spaniard! He is unstoppable and the MotoGP™ class hasn’t seen anything like him in decades. World Champion Marc Marquez continued his untouchable start to the 2014 MotoGP season this Sunday in Spain, becoming the first rider to win the first four races of the season since Mick Doohan in 1992!

The 21-year-old superstar had yet to win at Jerez, and in his 100th grand prix appearance he did it in front of his home crowd, making the victory even sweeter. Being his most dominant performance to date, Marquez beat Yahama's Valentino Rossi and Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa to take maximum points.

Pedrosa was stuck behind Jorge Lorenzo for much of the race, overtaking him with seven laps to go on his way to his fourth podium-finish of the season. Racing against three former world champions (Rossi, Pedrosa and Lorenzo), Marquez made it look like a cake walk, despite knowing Rossi has won the Jerez Grand Prix eight times during his career.
