The 2015 MotoGP™ Rider Standings
Heading into COTA

With only one Grand Prix in the history books so far, there is still a lot to come this season. Here are the current 2015 rider standings heading into the Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas race weekend:

Winning Predictions: Who Will Finish on the Podium?

There is plenty of discussion revolving who will win in Austin. The MotoGP season is returning to Circuit of The Americas for its third consecutive year and in the past two seasons, it's been a Honda 1-2 up on motogp-united-states-grand-prix-quintevents-motorcycle-1-1the podium. Honda Repsol riders, Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa, have successfully finished in first and second place respectively at the
Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas

With that being said, during the 2015 season opener in Qatar, Marquez and Pedrosa failed to find the top of the pack, finishing in fifth and sixth place. Rather, Yahama rider, Valentino Rossi, appeared rejuvenated and proved to fans he still has the fire it takes to win by securing the first place finish.

Moving into Austin, Pedrosa has already confirmed he will be missing the race due to the arm pump issue he revealed after the 2015 Qatar Grand Prix and Marquez has stated he is confident he will perform well at COTA, but Rossi has the momentum.

Will Marquez bounce back to where he ended things last season? Or will another rider surprise us all and taste victory?

Personally, I'm putting my money on Marquez. This kid just has the determination to win and if there are no complications bike-wise, I think we'll see him at the top of the podium.
